He came out and help my dad who is a disabled vet. A tree fell on the phone lines last week and we had no luck getting anyone out to move it. I saw George’s post on pollock pines forum and contacted him. He came out right away and removed the tree. My dad has been stuck in the house for a week and missed an important doctor appointment. Highly recommend Goerge Staddan and his crew. He took on my dwelling brush clearing job after I was told it can't be done by other tree and brush clearing masticator companies. His skid steer operator, Fred, is a highly motivated beast. Stripped half an acre of extremely dense brush with a couple tricky slopes in a day no problem. Left me some nice piles to burn. However, George does offer a wood chipping service too if you're not keen on burning. Feels safer to have a larger extra 40ft of fire buffer away from the house. Looks much cleaner than what a masticator would have left behind when it comes to debris. I'll be using George Staddan and his crew again to remove another 2.5 acres of brush from the property over time. Some before and after photos are included. See more See less

I hired George to make my half acre fire safe last summer. He skirted all the trees near the house, removed several dangerous trees that had issues and cleaned up the brush on my property eliminating the fire ladder we all dread. George “The Tree Guy” was highly recommended by my neighbor. George came to my house and discussed the trimming of a large Oak tree and minor trimming of two evergreen trees and then provided me with a very comparable estimate. As a senior I do watch costs, but I also regard the integrity, quality and service is to be paid for. I did not want to cut down the large oak tree, and my desire is to prevent this tree from falling due to the winter storms. So, weight reduction and balancing of the tree was my main concern. George showed up promptly on the day of trimming and spent half the day climbing and trimming the tree. When branches were cut, large and small, they were dropped with precision and no damage was done to my or the neighbor's property. After the trees were trimmed, George reviewed the work with my wife and I. Except for the fresh cuts on the trees, the trees look to be natural and balanced both aesthetically and with excessive weight removed, and the trees look as though they were that way all along.
